Resources

Our Department has been a leading recipient of National Institute of Health (NIH) funding for Departments of Psychiatry for over 25 years. We have over 100 full-time faculty members who are principal investigators on research grants. Accordingly, we offer a wide array of resources for research and education.

In addition to individual research programs and centers within our Department, residents also have access to mentors across the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University research programs. For example, PRP residents can work with faculty members who are part of the Center for Neuroscience University of Pittsburgh and the Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition.
