On December 20, 2024 the Department welcomes Abigail Schlesinger, MD and Shelly Kucherer, MD as they present a Clinical Grand Rounds on Adult Autism.

Abigail Schlesinger, MDDr. Schlesinger is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and the Clinical Chief for UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital's Child and Adolescent and Integrated Services. She also serves as the Medical Director of the Outpatient Behavioral Health Services, Child and Family Counseling Center, the Center for Independence, and the Children’s Telephonic Psychiatric Services (TiPS) at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh in addition to providing clinical services in Pittsburgh and surrounding communities.

Shelly Dr. Kucherer is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Associate Medical Director for the UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital's Adult Center for Autism and Developmental Disorders.

This program is being offered for 1.5 continuing education credits. The indicated number of clock hours of continuing education is provided through UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital’s Office of Educational Resources and Planning, a PA-approved provider of social work continuing education in accordance with all the applicable educational and professional standards of the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapist.
