The Children’s Telephonic Psychiatric Consultation Services (TiPS) Behavioral Health and Pediatric Primary Care Conference will take place on Friday, March 3, 2023. 

This free event includes options for virtual participation and in-person participation at the Wyndham Pittsburgh, University Center (breakfast, lunch, and free parking included). Individuals working in primary care will be given priority for both in-person and virtual attendance. 

On March 3, 2022 we welcome Drs. Hader Mansour, Julie Kmiec and Konasale Prasad for our next Clinical Grand Rounds. 

The growing number of states across the US that are loosening regulations towards cannabis use highlight the shifting attitude toward the substance.  In this clinical grand rounds, presenters will discuss the clinical implications of use of medical marijuana, liberalized legal use and drawbacks including association with psychosis.  

The REACH Health Equity Seminar Series welcomes Kristen Eckstrand, MD, PhD as its featured speaker on March 16th. Dr. Eckstrand will present a talk titled “Medial Prefrontal Cortex Activity to Reward Outcome Moderates the Association Between Victimization Due to Sexual Orientation and Depression in Youth”.
 

The Department welcomes Neal Swerdlow, MD, PhD from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) on March 17, 2023 as the speaker for our next Distinguished Scientist Lecture.
