The new calendar year kicks off with a Clinical Grand Rounds focusing on Behavioral Health Intensive Care featuring presentations by Hunter Gibbs, MD, Jamie Tew, MD, and Priyanka Amin, MD.  Dr. Gibbs serves as Medical Director of the Behavioral Health Intensive Care Unit at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital. Dr. Tew serves as the Associate Chief of Clinical Services for Inpatient Services.  Dr.

The Department will highlight the research of Susanne Ahmari, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, at the January 11th Meet the PI lecture.

The Department of Psychiatry Lecture Series features the work of Carrie Bearden, PhD, Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles on January 18th. Dr. Bearden will present a Special Guest Lecture highlighting her findings.
