Alternatives for Families: A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT) Comprehensive Didactic/Experiential Training
The Alternatives for Families: A Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (AF-CBT) program is pleased to announce that the Spring 2019 Comprehenstive Didactic/Experiential Training Program will take place April 30, 2019 through May 2, 2019.
Training will be provided by Barbara Baumann, PhD, a member of the University of Pittsburgh Department of Psychiatry faculty and an experienced AF-CBT trainer with 40 completed trainings.
Location
- The training will take place in Conference Room A of the University Club, located at 123 University Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15260
Target Audience
- Mental health professionals with a Master’s degree or higher

Training Description
- 2.5 days of intensive instruction and roleplay
- Monthly clinical consultation for 1 year
- Detailed feedback on submitted session audio

- 0.5 days of advanced training
- Access to AF-CBT resources like assessment scoring applications, extra handouts, and more

- April 30: 9:00AM – 4:00PM
- May 1: 9:00AM – 4:00PM
- May 2: 9:00AM – 1:00PM
Registration Fee
- The registration fee includes training and consultation costs
- The registration fee is $1,600 per participant.
