Christopher Dobbelstein, MD Presented with Excellence in Patient Experience Award for His Outstanding Clinical Skills and Compassionate Care

Congratulations to Christopher Dobbelstein, MD on his receipt of an Excellence in Patient Experience Award from UPMC.  Dr. Dobbelstein is one of only 50 providers selected from more than 7,000 physicians and advanced practice providers within the medical center to receive this honor. The awards are based on patient ratings and are presented to top UPMC providers in recognition of their dedication to the population they serve and their compassionate care of patients and their families. Dr. Dobbelstein was presented with the award on November 6, 2018 at the Loren Roth Quality and Patient Safety Awards Reception held at the UPMC Passavant Cumberland Woods Conference Center.  

Dr. Dobbelstein, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, began his career at UPMC as an Attending Internist at UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital in 2009 and has served as an Attending Internist in the UPMC Montefiore General Internal Medicine Outpatient Clinic since 2014. He also currently serves as Medical Director for Psychiatric Services at UPMC St. Margaret Hospital.
