We are kicking on the new calendar year with a Meet the PI lecture on January 5, 2023 at noon featuring the work of Judith Morgan, PhD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.

The Pitt Psychiatry Lecture Series continues on January 19, 2024 when we welcome Marianne Seney, PhD as our Meet the PI speaker. 

We hope you will join us for the next Practical Psychopharmacology Grand Rounds on January 26, 2024 at noon. This series is coordinated by Gina Perez, MD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Tanya Fabian, PhD, PharmD, BCPP, Associate Professor of Pharmacy and Therapeutics and Psychiatry. 

On February 2, 2024 the Department welcomes Jordan Smoller, MD, ScD from the Harvard Medical School as our Distinguished Scientist Lecturer as part of our Friday lecture series.

Dr. Kang's research interests include precision medicine, statistical methods in biomarker evaluation for treatment selection and risk prediction, mobile health, statistical learning, empirical processes, moderation and mediation analysis, physical activity and neurocognitive health, and schizophrenia and human brain development.
