Multidimensional Sleep Health Methods: From the Simple to the Sublime

Meredith Wallace, PhD Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Biostatistics, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine

Mark your calendars for February 9, 2024 when we will present a Meet the PI lecture by Meredith Wallace, PhD at noon.

Dr. Wallace is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh. She is highly regarded in the field of statistics, and a leading investigator in the emerging field of multidimensional sleep health. Her expertise in statistical methods is particularly valuable in the development and deployment of techniques to define homogeneous subgroups within larger cohorts. Dr. Wallace uses sophisticated methods including combined moderators in clinical trials, clustering, and analysis of intensively measured ecological momentary assessment data, which involves collection of real-time data in real-world settings. She applies these methods across many applications, such as health disparities research, clinical trials, sleep, and substance use.
