Xinjun Wang is a 5th year PhD student in Biostatistics at the University of Pittsburgh who focuses on developing novel statistical methods for single-cell multi-omics data. He has extensive experience in collaborating with physicians and clinical researchers to seek novel biological discoveries through the analysis of single-cell data (e.g., scRNA-seq, CITE-seq, DOGMA-seq, spatial transcritomics). His research has been supported by two grants, one from UPMC and the other from NIH, and he leads and serves on several statistical organizations and conferences, including being the president of ASA Pittsburgh Student Chapter.
