We will feature the work of two of our talented rising stars, César Escobar-Viera, MD, PhD and Amy Byrd, PhD as part of our Researchers on the Rise lecture series on April 1, 2022. Dr. Escobar-Viera’s research focuses on leveraging social media and consumer information technology to improve both mental health outcomes and access to mental health services for minority individuals. Dr. Byrd's scientific focus is on the neurobiological processes underlying the development and persistence of reactive aggression.
