It's almost time for the Ninth Annual Clinician Educator Showcase!

The Children’s Telephonic Psychiatric Consultation Service (TiPS) is a program designed to increase the availability of peer-to-peer child psychiatry consultation teams to primary care clinicians (PCCs) who are prescribers of psychotropic medications for children insured by Pennsylvania’s Medical Assistance programs, Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP), and UPMC commercial insurance. The program aims to provide real time resources to clinicians who desire consultative advice for children with behavioral health concerns.

Join us on May 14, 2021 for the Annual STAR-Center Conference. The theme of this year's conference is "Preventing Suicide in Children and Youth:  Building Resilience in the Face of Adversity." 

Registration is now open for "A Trauma-Informed Approach to Racial Healing: A Summit for Collaborative Approaches," which will take place on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Herberman Conference Center at UPMC Cancer Pavilion, UPMC Shadyside. 

The Pitt Psychiatry Research Half Day and Research Resources Revue, which will take place on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm at the University Club on the Oakland campus.  

This unique event will feature over 90 posters highlighting the latest research findings from Department investigators and spotlighting the abundance of program resources available to our research community.
