Jill Glausier, PhD, Honored by the National Institutes of Health NeuroBioBank
Congratulations to Jill Glausier, PhD (Assistant Professor of Psychiatry), who has been recognized by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) NeuroBioBank, a national resource for investigators using human post-mortem brain tissue and related biospecimens for their research. Dr. Glausier is the inaugural recipient of the NIH NeuroBioBank Award of Excellence, which was presented at the NIH NeuroBioBank Annual Meeting in November.
The Award of Excellence recognizes Dr. Glausier’s dedication and commitment, which have greatly enhanced the program and made a lasting impact on its success. As chair of the NeuroBioBank Diagnostic Categorization Working Group, Dr. Glausier has initiated and advanced multiple key initiatives that have shaped the direction of the national program.
In the Department of Psychiatry, Dr. Glausier serves as Associate Program Director of the Pittsburgh NeuroBioBank, one of six NIH-funded human post-mortem brain tissue resources nationwide.
