Dr. Ganesh Babulal is an Associate Professor of Neurology within the School of Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. He is interested in investigating the relationship between cognitive function and mental health and its impact on the daily living activities of those with chronic neurological diseases. Specific research projects of his include characterizing functional changes in older adults using Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers, predicting global decline in aging using neurobehavioral markers, assessing how social forces (e.g.

The Interventional Psychiatry Workgroup invites you to register today for the 2025 Interventional Psychiatry Showcase, an event highlighting the cutting-edge research by Department investigators on a range of novel interventions in Psychiatry. This year’s Showcase will focus on two techniques - Transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) and Transcranial focused ultrasound (tFUS), and how these therapeutic interventions are being used to increase our understanding and effectively treat a range of psychiatric disorders.
