Join us on March 14, 2025 at noon as we celebrate National Patient Safety Awareness Week with a Clinical Grand Rounds focusing on Patient Safety.

This presentation will discuss the importance of psychological safety as part of patient safety efforts. Presenters Dr. Priyanka Amin and Joe Zimmerman will discuss strategies for supporting psychological safety for individuals and teams. Presenters will demystify external organizations and key stakeholders as well as peer review protections during patient safety investigations.  This session will conclude with a Q&A panel discussion with the presenters.

The indicated number of clock hours of continuing education is provided through UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital’s Office of Educational Resources and Planning, a PA-approved provider of social work continuing education in accordance with all the applicable educational and professional standards of the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapist.
