Join us on April 26, 2024 for a Distinguished Scientist Lecture by Bruno Averbeck, PhD, Chief of the Section on Learning and Decision Making (SLDM) for the National Institute of Mental Health.

On May 17, 2024 our Meet the PI lecture series continues when we will feature the work of Oliver Lindhiem, PhD.

Dr. Lindhiem is Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. His research has an emphasis on methodology and focuses on three primary areas: 1) evidence-based assessment, 2) techniques to enhance skill acquisition/utilization, and 3) increasing access to evidence-based care. 

We invite all to join in White Coats Against Racism & Injustice Kneel on May 24th. The program begins 12:50pm and the kneel begins at 1:15 and will be held at the Montefiore Roundabout Lawn on Buffalo Street.

The Psychiatric Research Infrastructure for Intervention and Implementation in India (PRIIIA) training program, the Behavioral Health Service line at the Veterans Administration Pittsburgh Healthcare System, the Government of India, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh will host a groundbreaking Symposium on the impact of global mental health research.  It is funded by a grant from the Fogarty International Center and the National Institute of Mental Health, National Institutes of Health (NIH).
