Join us on May 26, 2021 for a Special 30’ Seminar hosted by the Brain, Behavior and Cancer Seminar Series featuring Natacha M. De Genna, PhD.

Dr. De Genna is Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Epidemiology and Director of the YoungMoms Study. In her presentation she will provide a brief overview of the epidemiology of cannabis and tobacco use, the significance of dual use, and findings on correlates and predictors of dual use in observational cohort studies.

Pride Month continues with special one-hour, virtual events hosted by the UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital LGBTQIA+ Committee and Education and Consultative Services. On June 23, 2021 we hope you will join us for a special training session on "The Importance of Family Support for Transgender Youth and Young Adults" presented by Dana Rofey, PhD.

We hope you will take part in a special one-hour virtual training session as part of the Pride Month activities hosted by UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital LGBTQIA+ Committee and Education and Consultative Services.

On June 30, 2021 we will feature a special presentation by J. Joy Gero, PsyD, LPC on "Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity (SOGI) Data Collection: Promoting Best Practices for the Care of LGBTQ+ People."

The Brain, Behavior and Cancer Seminar Series welcomes Eric Finkelstein, PhD on July 22, 2021 when he will present a virtual lecture on "“Behavioural Economics as a Tool for Chronic Disease Prevention and Treatment? Theory and Evidence.”
