Our AACE Track residents have ample opportunity to learn from mentors and a forum for professional socialization and support. Our Department and the UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital are home to some of the most gifted clinician-educators in the country who are committed to mentoring the next generation of clinician-educators, preparing them to take the next step in their academic and clinical careers.
“I am immensely grateful for the unending support and commitment provided to me by AACE faculty as I have navigated the intricacies of project development and dissemination. Under their guidance, I have seen an idea I was passionate about become a flourishing initiative. The mentors I have gained through AACE have enriched my personal growth and assisted me in developing and attaining career goals as a clinician educator.”

“My experience with faculty mentorship through the AACE track was wonderful. This mentorship was invaluable to my AACE project, from the project's conceptualization to its implementation. Furthermore, my faculty mentors truly encouraged my development and growth as a clinician educator and as a psychiatrist. I am so grateful for the opportunity to work with such dedicated, thoughtful individuals through the AACE Track.”
