Traci D'Almeida, MD Appointed to Department Faculty
The Department of Psychiatry is pleased to announce the appointment of its newest faculty member, Traci D'Almeida, MD. Dr. D'Almeida, an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, is a graduate of the University of Szeged School of Medicine and completed her residency training at Vanderbilt University. Following her residency, she obtained postdoctoral training in psychosomatic medicine as a fellow at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Dr. D'Almeida is an attending psychiatrist within the Adult Mood and Anxiety Service Line, where she also provides supervision and mentorship to medical students and residents rotating through the program. Her academic interests include neuropsychiatry and dementia, psycho-dermatology, psycho-oncology, and hospice palliative care. Please join us in welcoming Dr. D'Almeida to Pittsburgh!
