We're recognizing Patient Safety Week with a special Clinical Grand Rounds by Priyanka Amin, MD on March 14, 2025.
Dr. Amin is the Medical Director of Patient Safety for UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital (WPH) and is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry for the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Dr. Amin is passionate about safety, quality, and well-being and served as the first Chief Resident for Well-Being at UPMC WPH. She has also been an active member of the Critical Incident Stress Management ASAP Staff Support team at UPMC WPH and a volunteer and trainer for UPMC’s Physicians for Physicians, a peer support program for physicians following adverse events.
