Congratulations to Eric Rickin, MD on his recent receipt of the Clinical Educator of the Year award from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
The University presents the award to a faculty member that has demonstrated excellence in teaching fourth year medical students. Dr. Rickin is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and provides clinical services at the Center for Overcoming Problem Eating (COPE). In addition to his busy clinical schedule, Dr. Rickin has been actively engaged in teaching medical students and psychiatry residents since joining the faculty in 2006. Dr. Rickin was also recognized in 2011 for his outstanding teaching skills when he was named the winner of the WPIC Exemplary Teaching Service Award.
