WPIC Ranks in Top Ten
U.S News & World Report Ranks WPIC in Top 10
Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC (WPIC) has once again been named one of the top 10 psychiatry programs in the nation by U.S. News & World Report. In its 2013-2014 Best Hospitals Honor Roll, U.S. News & World Report ranked WPIC at #8 on the list of top psychiatry programs in the country -up from ninth place on the previous year's Honor Roll.
WPIC and the University of Pittsburgh Department of Psychiatry are proud of this acknowledgement of the quality care provided by dedicated faculty, staff and trainees, and of the numerous educational and research initiatives that contribute to the development of new and more effective diagnostic and treatment practices.
