Clerkship Preceptor of the Year
Henry Driscoll, MD, MSc Presented with Clerkship Preceptor of the Year Award
Dr. Henry Driscoll, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, has been presented with the 2015 Clerkship Preceptor of the Year Award by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine Awards Committee and the School?s Dean, Dr. Arthur Levine.
This award recognizes faculty clinical preceptors who consistently provide outstanding clinical instruction in the clerkship setting for University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine students.
A 2008 graduate of the Pitt School of Medicine, Dr. Driscoll completed the Psychiatry Residency Training Program at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC (WPIC) and was recruited to the Department of Psychiatry faculty in 2013. He is an attending psychiatrist for the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Unit, Telepsychiatry and the Dual Diagnosis Inpatient Unit. Since joining the faculty, Dr. Driscoll has been actively involved in the training and supervision of medical students, postdoctoral trainees, and residents in WPIC?s clinical programs. He is also currently training in adolescent and family Dialectical Behavioral Therapy as well as continuing his training as a candidate at the Pittsburgh Psychoanalytic Center.
