2016 ADHD Conference
Register now and join us for the Fifth Annual ADHD Conference. The conference will take place September 23, 2016 from 8:00am-4:30pm at the Sheraton Station Square in Pittsburgh, PA.
This year?s program focuses on ADHD across the life span and is sponsored by UPMC, the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, and Community Care Behavioral Health.
Dr. Russell A. Barkley, Clinical Professor of Psychiatry and Pediatrics at the Medical University of South Carolina, will serve as the keynote speaker. Dr. Barkley is a clinical scientist, educator, and practitioner who has written and presented extensively on the nature, assessment, and treatment of ADHD and related disorders.
The conference features presentations and sessions focusing on topics for professionals who work with individuals with ADHD, adults living with ADHD and parents of children with the disorder. The program includes presentations by several Department of Psychiatry faculty and clinicians from Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic of UPMC on a variety of topics including:
- Management of ADHD in a Pediatric Practice
- Addressing the Needs of Transition Age Adults
- ADHD vs. Bipolar Disorder
- Advocacy in the Schools
