Tiffany F. Hughes, PhD, MPH, Joins Department of Psychiatry Faculty

Please join us in welcoming Tiffany F. Hughes, PhD, MPH to the Department of Psychiatry faculty.  Dr. Hughes earned her PhD in Aging Studies and an MPH in Epidemiology from the University of South Florida, and completed postdoctoral training at the University of Pittsburgh under the mentorship of Mary Ganguli, MD before her appointment as a Research Assistant Professor of Psychiatry in our Department.  Her research explores the role of cognitive, social, and physical leisure activity in maintaining cognitive health among the aging.  She is currently the Principal Investigator for an ADRC Donation Fund project looking at the effects of interactive video gaming on mild cognitive impairment, and will be involved in research and research training in the areas of dementia and related disorders in the community.
