Simple Rules for Better Sleep

An innovative brief behavioral treatment intervention for insomnia continues to garner national attention. The therapy, developed by Daniel J. Buysse, M.D., Professor of Psychiatry and Clinical and Translational Science, and his colleagues was featured recently in the Health section of the New York Times. Dr. Buysse, shown here with members of his research team, developed and tested a brief behavioral treatment intervention in a group of 79 senior citizens with chronic insomnia that resulted in two-thirds of those treated reporting an improvement in sleep.  To read the full article, please visit:
