Martin J. Lubetsky, MD Honored as Volunteer of the Year

Martin J. Lubetsky, MD. Associate Professor of Psychiatry, has been selected by the Jewish Residential Services as its 2011 Volunteer of the Year.  Jewish Residential Services provides residential and rehabilitative services to people who need support in their everyday lives because of psychiatric or developmental disabilities, through a Clubhouse, recovery-oriented, psychiatric rehabilitation program, work program, community social activities, supported living, and residential living settings.  Dr. Lubetsky will receive the award in recognition for his contributions to the growth of community and residential services for young adults with autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities for this community.  He will be honored at the Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh Annual Meeting on September 21, 2011 and featured in The Jewish Chronicle newspaper.  Dr. Lubetsky is a member of the Jewish Residential Services Board of Directors and leads the Young Adult in Transition committee
