American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) Selects Nekesha Oliphant, MD for 2011 AAFP Minority Scholarship
Nekesha Oliphant, MD, a Family Medicine/Psychiatry Resident, has been selected by the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP) for the organization?s 2011 Minority Scholarship. The award is based on an essay competition and recognizes minority residents and students who are interested in pursuing a career in family medicine. Dr. Oliphant will receive a scholarship towards attendance at the AAFP national conference and will participate in the Minority Special Interest Roundtable Discussion during the National AAFP Residents and Students National Conference in Kansas City, Missouri, July 28-30, 2011.
