Office of Residency Training Coordinator Elected as
AADPRT Coordinators' Caucus Chair
Kim Kirchner, Academic Manager for the Office of Residency Training, has been elected as the new Coordinators? Caucus Chair for the American Association for Directors of Psychiatric Residency Training (AADPRT). Kim will concurrently serve as Caucus Chair-Elect and as the Professional Development Committee Chair for AADPRT over the coming year. She will begin her two-year term as the Coordinators' Caucus Chair in March 2016.
The AADPRT Psychiatry Residency Coordinators? Caucus is dedicated to the professional growth of its members. Its mission is to better educate members in the administration and management of residency training programs and allow for more opportunities in professional growth, which will enhance the organization?s ability to work collaboratively with program directors to strive for excellent quality training in its programs.
Kim has worked in the Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic Office of Residency Training since 2005, where she is responsible for day-to-day administration of the program and managing the daily ACGME requirements for 83 Residents and Fellows.
