Morgan Faeder, MD, PhD, Honored by Association for Academic Psychiatry
Congratulations to Morgan Faeder, MD, PhD (Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Neurology), who has received an Association for Academic Psychiatry Early Career Development Award, which recognizes the achievements and academic promise early-career faculty in psychiatry.
Dr. Faeder is an attending psychiatrist with UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital (WPH)’s consultation-liaison service, providing clinical care for patients across multiple UPMC medical hospitals. He is director of the Department’s consultation-liaison psychiatry clinical fellowship, associate program director of the WPH psychiatry residency program, and has served as co-creator and co-director of an award-winning professional enrichment course on LGBTQ+ healthcare for the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
