Please click here to register now for an in-person Department-wide Juneteenth event in the UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital (WPH) Auditorium on June 19, 2023 from 12-1pm!

Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. on the 2nd floor of UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital. You may arrive then to eat and socialize beforehand, or you may bring lunch into the auditorium at 12:00. 

The event, beginning promptly at 12pm, will feature a brief video on the history and cultural context—past and present—of Juneteenth, produced by the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture. 

Following the video, attendees are invited to engage in conversation with three discussants.

You will need to register in advance to receive lunch. The deadline to register is June 9, 2023. Please note that seating is limited.
