Sean Piantadosi, PhD, is a K99-funded postdoctoral fellow at the University of Washington in Dr. Michael Bruchas’s lab. His research explores neuromodulatory mechanisms underlying affective behavior and their disruption in psychiatric illness. Trained in the Translational Neuroscience Program at the University of Pittsburgh, Dr. Piantadosi develops and applies advanced neurotechnologies to identify and manipulate therapeutic targets, integrating correlative and causal approaches to better understand mood disorders.
