The Department is delighted to welcome Jason Rosenstock, MD as our featured speaker on February 16, 2024 for the annual Clinician Educator Grand Rounds

Dr. Rosenstock is Professor of Psychiatry and the Associate Dean for Medical Education at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Since joining the faculty in 1996, his work has focused on schizophrenia: providing direct clinical care for patients; teaching students, trainees, and health professionals about the illness and its management; and helping to develop and administer services on behalf of patients and families affected by this illness. Dr. Rosenstock is the former director of medical student education for the Department of Psychiatry and was among the inaugural inductees of the School of Medicine’s Academy of Master Educators. He has won numerous awards for teaching and humanism, and he has been involved in international collaborations around medical education. Since 2011, he has served as the Chair of the school’s Curriculum Committee.

The indicated number of clock hours of continuing education is provided through UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital’s Office of Educational Resources and Planning, a PA-approved provider of social work continuing education in accordance with all the applicable educational and professional standards of the Pennsylvania State Board of Social Workers, Marriage and Family Therapist.
