Dr. Douaihy Receives Leonard Tow Award
School of Medicine Class of 2011 Selects Antoine Douaihy, MD as Recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Faculty Award
Antoine B. Douaihy, MD, Associate Professor of Psychiatry, has been chosen by the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine's Class of 2011 as the recipient of the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Faculty Award. Dr. Douaihy was chosen from 20 nominees for this award, which honors a member of the faculty who serves as an important role model for humanistic behavior for medical students. Medical students cited Dr. Douaihy's dedication to patients and families, and his ability to help restore self-esteem, confidence, and most of all dignity to those under his care. The School of Medicine will present Dr. Douaihy with the award at the Senior Awards Presentation on May 20th
