Documentary Featuring WPIC Faculty Wins Three Emmy Awards
Losing Lambert: A Journey through Survival & Hope is a documentary that showcases the survivor's experience of teen suicide. Doctors from Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic (WPIC) of UPMC, including Sue Wesner, David Brent, MD, Lisa Pan, MD, and Paula McCommons, EdD, together with UPMC's Media Relations department, and WQED Pittsburgh, collaborated to create the documentary. It won three Emmy Awards in the Mid-Atlantic Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and has been picked up for national PBS distribution this fall.
