Programs Receive HAP Awards
Department Programs Receive Awards for Patient Care and Innovation
The Hospital & Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania (HAP) recently presented their annual Achievement Awards to two programs in the Department of Psychiatry/Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in recognition of their innovation and excellence. The programs were selected from a total of 160 entries from health systems across Pennsylvania.
The Patient Care Award was presented to the Inpatient Child and Adolescent Bipolar (CABS) Unit for their submission on
Early Identification and Treatment of Pediatric Bipolar Disorder: An Innovative Assessment and Treatment Approach in the Hospital Setting."
The Association presented the resolve Crisis Network with the Innovation Award for their entry entitled "Prevention and Early Intervention in Behavioral Health: Comprehensive Community-Based Crisis Services."
