Department of Psychiatry to Showcase and Celebrate the Work
of its Talented Investigators at 17th Annual Research Day
We hope you will join us on June 8, 2017 when the Department of Psychiatry will host its 17th Annual Research Day at the University Club on the Oakland campus.
This annual full-day event is an excellent opportunity to meet our researchers, learn more about their work, and share your expertise and interests with other members of the research community. The program includes a morning poster session, lunchtime roundtable discussions, and oral presentations by talented members of the Department's research faculty as part of the popular afternoon Speed Dat(a)ing session. There are also ample opportunities for networking throughout the day.
The Department is honored to have Brooke Molina, PhD, Professor of Psychiatry, Psychology and Pediatrics, as the keynote speaker for this year's event. Dr. Molina is an accomplished scientist whose research encompasses the etiology, course, and treatment of Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder and substance use disorders. She also plays an important role in the career development of students, trainees, and early-career investigators through her teaching and mentorship activities, and as the Co-Director of the Department's Career and Research Development Seminar Series.
