Department Welcomes Ann D. Cohen, PhD to Faculty
Please join us in welcoming Ann D. Cohen, Ph.D., Assistant Professor of Psychiatry, to the Department. Dr. Cohen earned her PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh in 2006 and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in 2011. Her primary research interests focus on amyloid deposition in normal elderly and individuals with mild cognitive impairment or Alzheimer?s disease using neuroimaging techniques in order to produce earlier markers of pathology. She has published in several prestigious journals including the Journal of Neuroscience and the Annals of Neurology, and is also a member of the Society for Neuroscience and the Alzheimer's Association International Society to Advance Alzheimer's Research and Treatment (ISTAART).
