Investigating Schizophrenia with hd-EEG, MRI, and TMS

Dr. Ferrarelli is an Assistant Scientist in the laboratory of Dr. Ned Kalin, and a PGY 3 Research Track Resident in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Wisconsin. After completing his MD / PhD at the Catholic University of Sacred Heart in Rome Italy, Dr. Ferrarelli worked in the lab of Giulio Tononi, MD, PhD where he studied the mechanisms and functions of sleep and their implications in depression and schizophrenia. His primary research interests focus on the utilization of hd-EEG, MRI and TMS to better understand the neurobiology of those with schizophrenia, and identify potential treatment targets.
