Introduction to Psychiatry (MS1)

This preclinical psychiatry course focuses on the neural substrate of mental illnesses and their clinical manifestations and treatment. 

Behavioral Medicine (MS1)

This preclinical psychiatry course provides first-year medical students with an understanding of the substantial contribution of human behavior in the etiology and course of disease. The course also helps students understand how behavior can affect their own health and their ability to be an effective, caring physician.

Mini-Electives (MS1-2)

These elective experiences allow students to explore a range of psychiatry-related topics, including mindfulness, mind-body medicine, and motivational interviewing.
